Objectives: to implement a run-time data acquisition system and, furthermore,
study the loading and flooding characteristics and pressure drop across a packed-bed tower by
monitoring the tower through computerized data acquisition in real time. Later, the experiment was installed
in the Unit Operations Lab to be used by undergraduate students in their final semester.

Microsoft Visual Studio (MFC, Win32, GDI, C++) based implementations of Digital Image Processing pipelines to create GUIs, visualisations, and mouse interactions like drawing regions of interest of regular/irregular shapes for offline (outside OEM) 2D/3D DICOM data handling.
In this research (sponsored by Department of Biotechnology,
Govt. of India, and done in collaboration with the Department of RadioDiagnosis, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, India),
2 unique tools were developed in the lab to address post-processing of
DICOM data associated with Diffusion Tensor Imaging and Dynamic Contrast Enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Protocols.
These tools eventually gave rise to much refined software later.
